Above Par charges a flat monthly fee scoped to your business — based on transaction volume, the number of accounts to reconcile, and the services you choose (bookkeeping only, or bookkeeping plus payroll, invoicing, or forecasting). There’s no hourly meter and no surprise invoices. You get one clear number on your free consultation.
A bookkeeper records and reconciles your day-to-day transactions and produces monthly financial statements you can run the business from. An accountant or CPA typically handles tax filing, audits, and higher-level advisory. Above Par does the bookkeeping all year, then hands your CPA a clean, ready-to-file package at tax time.
Yes. We work day-to-day in QuickBooks Online and Xero, and we handle setup, cleanup, and migration between them. We also work alongside Gusto for payroll and Bill.com or Melio for bill pay. If you’re already set up, we work in your existing file — no forced migration.
Absolutely — catch-up and cleanup is one of the most common ways clients start with us. We’ll assess the current state, quote the one-time cleanup separately, and bring everything current and reconciled before your monthly service begins.
